Goal

For this project, I developed the branding and visual identity for WMF (Worldwide Music Festival), a fictional multi-genre music festival. Influenced by neo-retro aesthetics and Memphis design, the identity combines vibrant neon colors, experimental typography, and playful graphic elements to create a dynamic and visually engaging brand experience that reflects the energy of live music culture.

Concept 

Soundwaves

The visual identity was inspired by the movement and rhythm of soundwaves. Abstract wave forms were incorporated throughout the branding system to reflect energy, motion, and the immersive nature of live music experiences

First Iteriation

Initial direction established a strong foundation for the brand identity however

​

  • Original color palette lacked the vibrancy

​

  • Early layouts felt rigid and constrained

​

  • Very little rhythm, movement, and dynamic composition throughout the branding

Refined Visual Direction

After exploring multiple directions, the final design combines bold typography with dynamic graphic elemenent of a soundwave, helping the brand feel vibrant and memorable while still remaining versatile across different applications.
